Brother Knights,
As we move from the celebration of Columbus Day toward the season of Thanksgiving, it is an ideal time to reflect on our shared values and the journey we undertake together as Knights. Columbus, a symbol of exploration and faith, reminds us that our path as Knights is not just about the destination, but the spirit with which we travel. His determination and courage resonate with our principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.
Thanksgiving offers another moment to pause and express gratitude—for the blessings in our lives, for our families, and for the opportunity to serve others. It is also a time to consider how we can embody that gratitude through action, extending our hands and hearts to those in need.
As we prepare for this season, let us remember that the Knights of Columbus was founded on the ideals of giving and service, and that spirit continues to guide our assembly today.
Together, we can make this Thanksgiving a time of both reflection and impact. I encourage each of you to think about how you can share your blessings with others, whether through community service, helping a fellow Knight, or simply being a source of kindness in someone’s life.
With God’s grace, the Gov. David I. Walsh Assembly #403 will continue to grow in faith, service, and brotherhood, just as we always have. I am thankful for each of you and for the opportunity to lead such a dedicated group of men. May our faith guide us, and may we continue to strengthen our bonds with one another and our community.
Thank you for all that you do, and may you and your families have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Vivat Jesus,
Nino Hanna
Faithful Navigator
Gov. David I. Walsh Assembly #403
