Faithful Navigator's Message

Worthy Sir Knights,

As we approach a new fraternal year an examination on the past year could bring one to elation. The 250th anniversary of our country, our US Bishops consecrated the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, as well as a record number of Catholic converts, and adults coming into the church throughout our nation. From last year we saw a 38% increase in dioceses across the country, with Boston being one of the highest . When we see increases around these areas, especially where faith has seemed forgotten about, I believe It Is a great sign for more to come. The desire for truth seems to be slipping into our culture for the better.  I see that this time Is perfect for us to continue to sharpen ourselves, to be able to provide the type of leadership, and example setting that act in accordance with our faith. Evangelizing starts with all of us. The way we live, and treat others, practicing the sacraments mother church provides us with, when we do all these things they bleed into our culture. They imprint on whoever may see. We do not do them for attention. We do not do them for ourselves, but for our brothers, and sisters in christ. We do them because we believe. So that we can share the message of our Lord, and bring as many souls to heaven. The good news needs to be spread, the truth needs to be shared, and the love of our father in heaven needs to be at the forefront of everything we do. We shall never waver, not with God by our side. Romans 8:31 “If God is for us, who can be against us?” When we fall we get back up, and when we can not stand, our brother Knight is there. We should always remember our lives are not about us. Let us take the torch, to lead all we encounter to the way, the truth and the life our Lord Jesus Christ.
